What do medicine labels tell patients to report?

Prescribing information is written in sections, and one of them exists specifically to tell patients which effects to raise with a clinician rather than wait out. It is not the same as the list of common side effects, and it is usually shorter and more specific.

Where that section sits depends on the format. On MedlinePlus drug pages it appears under the heading about side effects, separating effects that are common from those described as serious. In a leaflet inside the box it is generally near the end, under a heading about when to contact a doctor.

This page cannot give you that list, because it is specific to the medicine you are actually taking and to your own history. What it can do is point you at where the list lives. Read it once when you start something new, rather than for the first time when you are already worried.
